Bernie-

Is your surround derivation using some standard software or is this
custom stuff?

The use of M-S for producing surround is much more attractive as it can
be recorded two channel. I've kind of figured if I ever dabbled in
surround that the MKH-80 pair I have would give me crossed figure 8's if
I wished. So, I have a couple ways to do surround with one mic setup by
the sound of it. And two channels.
