I use 5 pin XLR. I'd need male coming from the mic and prefer neutric
weatherproof series (NC5MX-HD). Pinouts are:
Pin 1 - Ground/shield
Pin 2 - Left Signal Hot ( + )
Pin 3 - Left Signal Cold ( - )
Pin 4 - Right Signal Hot ( + )
Pin 5 - Right Signal Cold ( - )
This is the pattern Sony uses in their stereo mics, at least the model I
have ( ECM-MS957 )
I would also want some extras of the 7-pole Tuchel/Amphenol cable
connector so I could make up some long cables and so on if need be.
Sounds like you are using a reversed pattern on the handle, so I guess
that's a male connector to plug into the handle.
Do the extra two pins provide the connection for the battery box?
Walt
