Sid - An inexpensive way to do this would be to illuminate the negatives with a light box and photograph them with a digital camera. These digital images could then be printed in the normal manner. I have some old negatives that I need to try this with. If you are interested I could em you a sample. There is a local shop that will make drum scans of large negatives at about $60.00 each. However drum scanning requires bending the negative into a curve, So plates wouldn't work. Jim Morgan Prescott Arizona |
