Re: Spaced Omni's for Stereo + MKH110?

I have one MKH 110 mic. After consulting with the group, including a lot
of help from Walt. I ended up
going to my local Accent Music store and had a power supply built from
the spec's. Walt and Sennheiser
gave to me. It cost me about $75.
I am electrically challenged, but the schematic did seem quite simple.
I'm sure that someone with the
least amount of electrical background should be able to put a power
source together quite easily.
I'm certain if you check out Walt's web site you will find the wiring
schematic he included with his
SAS/MKH 110 page. That drawing is most helpful.
The cable needed for the mic is another matter. I was lucky enough to
have one included with my mic.
The wiring for the cable is very important and is also on Walt's drawing.
After all is said and done, the mic does a beautiful job and is well
worth the effort.
Good luck,
J Young
