Hi Tanya, Given your interests, you will probably very much enjoy the discussion on the phonography and lowercase sound mailing lists, perhaps also the microsound list, if you're not already. Phonography (devoted to the art and science of making field recordings for aesthetic reasons) lives at www.phonography.org; lowercase-sound can be found on Yahoo groups if you search for lowercase. I'm not currently on microsound but I'm sure google would pop it up. The lowercase sound list focuses on self-described music and sound art made from subtle, soft, quiet, or overlooked quotidian soundsources.
