I will volunteer to do this, if someone would like to send me one of their=
backup DAT machines. I'll split the signal from one mic to the two
recorders and publish the raw and analyzed files. Cornell has the equipment=
to do this sitting around, I do not. They are the organization that attacks=
MiniDisc - they should be the ones to back up their accusations, but they
do not. I have, by the way, done these test running the signal to an MZ-R50=
and directly to my sound card, and I cannot find anything that verifies
their contentions. Now, I'm not a bioacoustician, nor am I a sound
engineer, so my technique may not be sound, but I am willing to follow any=
protocol within my means to do this test effectively.
If any of you has a spare DAT to send me, I'll be very happy to make the
comparison using Telinga's "Twin Science", Sennheiser's ME-62 and ME-67,
Telinga's EM-23 and a River Forks CVX. Fair enough?
