Whatever way, it's a electric charge. With lots of ways to be drained off.

You want to be the first to keep that Ivory Bill Woodpecker call on
flash memory for 10 years before transfer?

A soundtrack transferred without editing, cataloging and so on is really
a minor part of the process. The transfer time issue is way overblown,
it's trivia. I actually use the transfer time to review the track, so
I'm right ready with edits when it's in. You zip it in there, you still
have to listen to it to edit it. So you probably actually take more time
than I do. Unless, of course you never listen to or edit your tracks.
