I've a few Pelican cases here now, and ordered one of the 1420 cases to
get started on my project. The tricky part is yet to come in building in
the necessary waterproof controls to be able to push buttons and turn
the level control without opening the case. It's going to take a while
to build as I'll end up having to machine some of the pushers.
Still, that's the whole idea, to make a system than can float down a
river safely if necessary. And does not need to be opened to record. I
don't actually plan on using it floating, but it will be located where
paddle splash and such like will hit it.
