The MKH series mics have a fairly ordinary looking circuit board inside
as well as the capsule. Neither is particularly weatherproofed. A few
drops of salt water would end them. Fresh water they might dry, though
I'd not give a lot for their chances.

It's a lot cheaper to get a regular hydroplane. And the pickup will be better.
