Hi Rob,

 

Thanks for bringing it up. ACT PCS have it in the plan to put a bird hide at the southern end of Kelly’s swamp as soon as the funding opportunity arises.  In the meantime, we ask bird watchers to give the birds at the southern end of Kelly’s swamp some space.

 

Foot paths around Kelly’s swamp were damaged with last week’s heavy rain. There was a flash flooding event Thursday night that gouged out some of the foot paths and flooded other areas. It is one of ACT PCS’s priorities to have the foot path repaired as soon as possible.

I notice that an attempt has been made to stop people accessing the southern end of Kelly's swamp. Has any consideration been given to building a hide in that location?

I see that there's been quite a lot of trail damage from the downpour last week.
