Not that I ever have (or would) go to a rugby match but the behaviour described is fairly typical of Hobbies. I haven't ever seen Kestrels doing that.

I was there too – they were Hobbies. I’ve seen them several times over the last few years (presuming they’re the same ones). Training the bins skyward was a welcome relief to what was happening on the ground!
