At the risk of being the extra report that triggers a mass yawn, there
was a GBB in Turner last week, the first I've seen here since 1986 when
I sat open-mouthed at the study window and watched a young one attack a
group of White-naped HEs at the the bird bath, drown one, then fly off
with all the rest in pursuit. This latest ob was very boring in
comparison.

There was a G Butcherbird at
Tidbinbilla on Sunday 1 March and they are frequently heard at RMC Golf
course and also at Pitch and Putt at Woden. Also there were 3
Willy-wagtails at P&P this week and a family of Superb F-wrens near
the bowling greens. (Sporting little blighters aren't they?)
