This one's making a meal of an adult insect in grassland by Ginninderra Creek near Kippax.

Yesterday afternoon, a European Wasp carrying a katydid (I think)
fell to the ground in front of me. I trod on it, a symbolic but
probably futile gesture. (It's also potentially dangerous, as the
wasp's venom contains an alarm pheromone that attracts and enrages
other wasps in the area.)

At least 15 Rainbow Bee-eaters at Russell Offices on Friday evening,
flying west towards Kings Park.
