Being a parrot, it could well be paraticism, which may be a psittacine form of parasitism. >>>>>>>>>>>  Sorry to tease on that, because it is funny, maybe intentional(?).

 

But seriously, it could be, maybe unintentionally if a Crimson Rosella mum had intentions of using the box and laid in it but Eastern Rosellas were the ones that settled there.

Hello all,

 

On checking my Eastern Rosellas' nest box today a Crimson Rosella chick flew out. It could not fly well enough to get up into a shrub or tree so after taking a couple of photos of it I put it back in the nest box. 

 

Is this paraticism?
