Being a parrot, it could well be paraticism,

But seriously, it could be, maybe unintentionally if a Crimson
Rosella mum had intentions of using the box and laid in it but Eastern
Rosellas were the ones that settled there.

On checking my Eastern Rosellas'
nest box today a Crimson Rosella chick flew out. It could not fly well enough
to get up into a shrub or tree so after taking a couple of photos of it I put
it back in the nest box.
