I was astonished to read that "Glossy Black Cockatoos were not included in the above book" (Birds in the Australian High Country), so I checked. They ARE included in my revised 1976 edition (page 163) . Although they are called Glossy Cockatoos.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have that information. Actually the best reference on that sort of thing is Steve Wilson's book and no doubt Denis has that!
 
Also, over the years there have been many observations of Gang Gangs eating spitfire larvae, so that is pretty well covered. I also think I agree with Paul about fewer spitfire larvae around recently. Though I think that goes back a few years though I hadn't really thought about it. That is just impressions though.
