The Herbert Cres Ainslie Koel has moved about 100 metres to Cobb Crescent and has been joined by a female. On Friday the pair were observed hassling a Red Wattlebird’s nest. The RWB nest had a recently dead young bird hanging from the feet near the nest (not sure the cause of the death: possibly Koel). The nest now seems to have been abandoned.
