We had a similar situation a few years ago when Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos were featuring prominently on the list.  Personally I'm a bit sad I haven't so far had a Koel to report myself - but I'm still happy to hear reports from others.  Syringeal expansion?  Perhaps we should have a discussion on that!
