Yes indeed Matthew!
 
With such little extra effort (ie. submitting our observations either on paper or online) our wonderfully enjoyable activity of birdwatching can also become a powerful conservtion tool.
 
And all those current reports of migrants would be very useful to have in the database, regardless of whether you think they are overwinterers or the first returns. I look forward to seeing them.
