Just for interest, Mistletoebirds appear in my
Ainslie GBS site (with no eucalypts bearing mistletoes) site as a rule
only during the breeding season, for the period when they feed nestlings
also insects. They search in the American oaks in our street for
caterpillars of a leaf-mining moth (the latter also a target for several other
birds).
