Bruce, it's great that you are doing this.

From mid 1984 to about mid 1990 (or 1991) I co-ordinated surveys of the
Tuggeranong Lakes as they were being built. For a number of reasons this ceased, and indeed the only COG area of concern lakes that have been surveyed regularly for at least the past 10 years have been Lake Bathurst and the Morass by Michael Lenz, who was instrumental in starting the first overall surveys of our local lakes back in the late 1970s.

All my data have been entered into the COG database and should be there for comparison. One very interesting feature was that as the lakes, Isabella, Upper and Lower Stranger etc first filled they were very attractive to water birds, but became less interesting within about 6 months as they settled.
