The last sentence of Barbara's message reminds me
of a time out spotlighting at night and coming across what looked like a line of
checkerboard on a branch. It was 7 kookaburras lined up asleep, all in contact
with next bird, facing alternate ways, so showing as: white, brown, white,
brown, white, brown, white.
