You should then refer to the breeding graph on page
107 of the book "Canberra Birds: A Report on the first 21 years of the Garden
Bird Survey" let alone the text. That shows the frequency of each stage of the
breeding period by month and is based on more than one year's data (it is
based on 21 years (509 observations). It answers all of your questions. The data
were compiled, analysed and published to be used.
