Maybe they vary their performances depending on an
assumed "amazement index" of the audience eg exuberant uni students or grumpy
old birdwatchers. Or perhaps it was the weather and an innate fear of frostbite
only just being overcome by libido.
On another entirely diferent note, about an hour ago a Grey
Currawong was moving through the trees bordering Tharwa Drive at the southern
end of Gordon. Plenty of Pied Currawongs are usually around this area but its
the first Grey I've seen there.
