Hi All,
Probably old hat but at about 3PM Sunday 17th whilst running along
the top of the saddle between Ainslie and Majura,there were about 150+ Black
Cockatoos flying high Northwards along the back of Mt Ainslie and ending
their trip (I think)in the Majura Pine Forest...interestingly I also saw a
large raptor some minutes later proceeding on a simillar course but
Southwards I would say it was A Swamp Harrier as it had a White rump but too
far away for a positive ID I will check out Kellies...Many years ago I saw a
Swamp Harrier from Majura Lane and perhaps this is a logical route from Lake
George or Rowes Lagoon.....Terry Gourlay.
