A curious story from the staff member. However I
would not be too harsh on said person. It all depends on who examined the
pellets and how, and what exactly they found and how that leads to such a
conclusion. The comment from Alastair that "I didn?t bother to explain that
pellets are regurgitated" seems to me to actually not need to be
mentioned. Surely if the lady used the word pellets, she would be well
aware that they are regurgitated. Otherwise the (odd) suggestion she made, about
shitting its stomach up, makes no sense. Leo's comment that she
appears to have little knowledge of or interest in birds may not be correct or
certainly needs additional evidence to support the statement. Even if Leo's
comment is correct, it seems a little harsh, given that she is concerned for the
bird.
