On Friday evening, the owl was eating a sugar glider. I suspect it was caught the previous night because it was only just getting dark (around 5pm). There was no trace of remains at mid morning on Saturday, but they may have been cleaned up or were caught up in foliage.

I wouldn't get too concerned by the comments of a staff member who appears to have little knowledge of or interest in birds.

Regards,
Leo.
