As in "Superb calling by the S Lyre Bird". This might be old hat to
COGites and list members but I hadn't seen/heard it before. It's a
YouTube video of Attenborough stumbling miraculously on a Lyre Bird
with a particularly interesting repertoire. The usual array of bird
calls, but some amazing man-made sounds including camera shutter and
some I won't give away. The bird must be a media star given the
excellence of his "camera with motordrive" impersonation - maybe it
was just weeks of exposure to the Attenbourough entourage. Worth a
look if you haven't seen it before, the video is excellent and
interesting too, as you'd expect from Attenborough's team.
