Hi all,

If anyone is travelling up this way (i.e. Wyndham) and wants to see the Gouldian fnch, then we would recommend setting up a coffee at the picnic table behind the aboriginal statues behind the town, near the billabong. A wonderful spot for these and crimson finches. Also the Parry's Lagoon Farm has a wonderful array of birds. Camping $25 per night (unpowered) and there are bungalows for $75 per night. Barbecues are available for self-catering. Hope you're spotting many new birds, Cheers, Barbara

Some Finnish birding acquaintances will be in Canberra from 7 to 11 July
and
they are looking for some local advice on where to bird in Canberra during
their visit.

Can any b-aussers out there assist them? Please reply to me on

Cheers

Roy Sonnenburg
