Hi Wendy et al

(This is a shortened version of an off-chat-line email I sent to Ruth Parker)

Last Wednesday i thought i saw a female Red-cap in the region referred to in recent "chat" as Finch Central
Thursday i returned  and in a single "paddock" up hill from the river I saw
3 male Flame Robins, 2 Females; 2 pair of Scarlet Robins, one male Red-capped and two females.
On Friday I saw pretty much the same but the Scarlets were gone. I did though see a Scarlet in the rough ground closer to the river.
Sunday I saw only Flames, 4 males plus at least one female and they were about 200 metres west of their Thursday location.
The paddock was on the northern side of the Molonglo and about a kilometre to the west of Coppins Crossing.
Essentially the same area as the one described as  Finch Central on the chat line a week or two ago.

Today I spent 2 hours in the region and saw but one pair of Flame Robins.
