Martin,
when I did my count at FSP on 22 April, pond 1 had
a pair of Blue-billed D. I also had only few Black Ds, but about 50 on the
other side of the road. They must have flooded KS to a limited extent a few days
before my visit (it was before the recent rains) and the ducks were feeding on
the seeds of weedy plants. Also, the first set of ponds at FSP was bird-free
then.
