Maybe don't mention under pants, to the police next time john. not sure
that they will understand looking out for the underpants of birds.

Which reminds me of a story when I lived in brisbane. I mate and I had gone
up to camp mountain in the Brisbane forests park to look for Masked Owls.
We had just got out of the car, with our spotlights, cameras etc when
another car pulled in to the car park, several hundred metres from the
road. They wound down the window and asked what we were doing, at that
stage we realised it was the police. We must have been convincing when we
said we were looking owls as they bid us goodnight and drove off.
