G'day JJ et al.
As a mainlander I've just checked my Tasmanian Thornbill records and have none
from Peter Murrell (so I'm in the clear!). All mine are from wet forests (Fern
Tree, The Springs, Mount Field, Cradle Mountain and Pyengana). The contrasting
brown primary patch is obvious when you know to look for it.
I've only seen Strong-billed Honeyeater at Peter Murell once (September 2003)
when my notes tell me I saw several. Maybe they visit seasonally.
So, I reckon you can get all the endemics at Peter Murrell and Mount Wellington
(FernTree and higher for Black Currawong)
Cheers
