PS: I neglected to mention that BirdInfo has a simple mapping module too,
which can export survey or single species files in industry standard formats
- ArcInfo shapefiles or Google Earth KML files.  I've increasingly been
using the Google Earth option - very handy indeed for putting out lists in
spatial format!

The standard disclaimer probably warrants a mention - I have no financial
interest in BirdInfo - I'm just a long time very happy user ....
