They were in plentiful supply around the edge of the lakes there
where you walk down the big stairs to the staff club that lead to the
little wooden walkway that passes down between the two lakes, where
you would walk on your way to the busstop at the bottom of the lakes
there. Around the edge of the big lake, we saw walking all around us,
these birds with the moorhens, swamphens, and coots. At first we
thought they were juvenile moorhens, it wasn't until we consulted
simpson&day at home we realised they were not actually juveniles. I
would say we saw about a dozen to twenty of these birds in our half-
hour stroll.
