It's still there. Wed arvo. Arrived 2.15pm. Barely visible with a scope. Some small movement in and out of view. At about 3.10pm it wandered onto the mud flat where it proceeded to roost wader-like in full view until 3.45pm at which point it went back to its preferred and mostly obscured roost.
 
The main pointer is still the small patch of dead grass to the right of the large patch, with a squashed plastic bottle in front. Extremely difficult to spot without a scope when in this area.
