Visited the grubby pool again this afternoon. The PS was barely visible in the same patch of dead grass as before. The markers seemed to have become a polystyrene cup and a can of hairspray(?) but as they were floating are not much good in the long term. It was visible from when I arrived at approx. 2pm, mostly roosting with occaisional preening. After a heavy downpour at 2.55pm it wandered down to the edge of the pool where it appeared to be feeding off the surface of the water. After 10 minutes of excellent views it flew off into the reeds to the right.
