Wed arvo. Arrived 2.15pm. Barely visible with a scope. Some small movement in and out of view. At about 3.10pm it wandered onto the mud flat where it proceeded to roost wader-like in full view until 3.45pm at which point it went back to its preferred and mostly obscured roost.
