Hi Tony and other birders

Top points for stress management, Tony.

We do need outlets for our pent up emotions and angers.

The media reluctantly reported the oil spill in Sydney harbour and went 'soft'
on
Shell because it apologised and is , after all, sponsoring the Olympics. The
head
of National Parks , NSW, claims there was no significant damage to organisms,
before any follow up investigation. And you are right, not one politician in
Australia weighed in to save the environment.

Sine the Kyoto summit, Australia's atmospheric emissions have increased in such
a
way that we cannot meet the targets the summit set for this country. The
political
response. Who gives a stuff!

Meanwhile Kennet will be knighted for giving us the tollway we had to have.

But, dont give up Tony, Reich in 'The Greening of America" [about the gathering
protest against war in Vietnam] postulated the importance of growing
consciousness
in the 'few' until that few becomes many. Then we can say we told them so!

Cheers

Laurie Living
