I had a pond dug when we moved into acreage on the NSW South Coast. I put in a few large Goldfish and several small ones, but was a bit worried about the murkiness of the water and the health of the fish. Had a lot to do, and after a few months got around to clearing the pond water using Bentonite. Within a couple of days there was a lovely clear, sparkling pond, and lots of Goldfish. Then, later, looking out the window in horror, I saw three Kookas gorging themselves! The answer maybe to keep your pond water murky !!
