Birding around Urana, NSW.

I was surprised that Roger's message didn't refer to the polygon tool.
This caused me to use the polygon tool to get a sample list for a polygon
designed as a rectangle about 10km to a side centred on Urana. That gave a
set of 35 hotspots including all those I knew to be around Urana. The
bottom of the list of hotspots said location data as at November 2017.

Unfortunately when I completed the process by requesting a bar chart for
that set of hotspots I only got 19 species, all in the month of November.

I had been told in the past that this tool - developed by an individual
rather than by eBird - referred to an old set of records. From the
reference to November 2017 in the list of locations, and the date range on
the bar chart going from 1900 to 2018 I thought this had been fixed, but
obviously not.

Sorry for raising people's hopes.

Martin
