Facebook Groups for birding - time for a rethink?

Apart from the privacy issue, my main gripe about Facebook is that it
appears to be totally random what I see - I have a glance at it when I get
up in the morning, see something interesting but when I go back later the
post has disappeared. And there are some groups that my wife and I both
follow and we get different posts.
