Greetings Dom et alI too use Bluebird Technology's "Bird Journal" program; have since its inception with Version 1 [currently running Version 3]. As an inveterate writer of long notes on my sightings I find its various ancillary functions [e.g. nine types of data presented in graph form] invaluable as background information. It also provides "Location" editing functions and a "Species" function [which automatically keeps tally of your Life List or a list of country/regional/etc. sightings]. A more recent addition was the ability to tag your sightings to a map.
