Hi everyone
I am also very sad to learn of his death. I worked on the original edition of
Simpson & Day & found him to be a very & nice generous man & getting involved
with that field guide was one of the greatest things I ever achieved, & it was
mainly through his encouragement and help. So many people have that field
guide in their possession & it's helped many people identify birds & hopefully
encourage the conservation of birds. His influence is very large & he will be
missed. Condolences to his family & to all around him & knew him.-Kevin Bartram
