Little Friarbird
Campbell Park and environs
Apologies for not reporting this sooner, it didn't occur to me at the time and I have only just seen the moderator's request to do so.
Little Friarbird - One bird, seen clearly enough to distinguish from Noisy without any doubt. Blueish facial skin, feathered top of the head, overall smaller than Noisy.
Seen with Stanley Tang.

Australian Painted-Snipe
Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
Australian Painted-Snipe (1) Distinct markings being horseshoe band (white); prominent white eye ring. Full side on view after having been tucked away under dock weed. Similar location to several other sightings of a recluse specimen. between aforementioned "fallen logs". Took more than an hour of observation before it stepped out into the open. 300 mm lens prevented an image ,spotting scope in use. [Moderator's comment: This bird has been reported moreorless daily since it was first reported on 30 November 2013.]
