Latham's Snipe, Yellow-billed Spoonbill, Marsh Sandpiper, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, Red-necked Avocet
Kedron Wetlands
Nothing especially exciting, but late afternoon at Kedron Wetlands produced a nice selection of waterbirds on the main pond. There were singles of Latham's Snipe and Yellow-billed Spoonbill, about 20 avocets plus the Marsh and Sharp-tailed Sandpipers that have been present for a couple of weeks now. Still large numbers of Red-kneed Dotterel. Very good conditions in the late afternoon sun.
