Tue 6 Aug

Square-tailed Kite St Hallett Winery, Tanunda
Square-tailed Kite (1) Came in low just above tree-top height along creekline from the east (Kaiserstuhl CP direction) and flew directly over me as I was standing at tree-top height on a winery catwalk! Excellent views... only the third time I have seen this species over the winery! Sent all the local birdlife into full alarm mode! although the Kite didn't look like it was hunting just cruising...
