Published sightings for the week ending 11 Aug 2013.

Sat 10 Aug White-necked Heron Strahan
3 Trips around airport looking for Ground Parrots (no luck :() as well as walking/driving around town. Very windy and wet. White-necked Heron (3) 2 In Meredith St and one in Pontifex St. Both well photographed and unmistakable. First two were being harassed by Masked Lapwing.

Sat 10 Aug Great Egret Old Aerodrome Rd, Low Head
One bird, very still, head skyward. Situated in swamped farmland. Never seen one before in this area.

Wed 7 Aug White-necked Heron Bruny Island
White-necked Heron (2) In roadside paddock about 2km northeast of Alonnah town boundary. Same site as reported on 3rd July, 2013.

Sun 28 Jul Nankeen Night Heron Murdunna shop
Up to six birds roosting in trees behind Murdunna shop on Tasman Highway, Murdunna. Easy to spot from the carpark beside the shop as well as from the start of Sommers Bay Rd. Seem to be there regularly now. Good to photograph in the afternoon as they sun themselves half way up the trees.
