Tue 23 Oct Scarlet-chested Parrot Maryvale Station 24 48S 133 52E 1' Cell, Northern Territory
Scarlet-chested Parrot (1) Single male bird. As the lead car was driving along, flocks of between 50 and 100 Budgerigars were flushing from Ironwoods beside the track. When one flock flushed, I had clear views of a brilliant male Scarlet-chested Parrot. It's likely that there may have been female or immature birds as well but I only identified the single male.
