Thanks Eric and Carl for clarifications.
It's nice to know noise is becoming less of an issue. One of the proposed
reasons shorebirds flush from aircraft is also silhouette, but if your
observations show they aren't so nervous around smaller, quieter model
copters that's great! I can certainly see the potential applications for
shorebirds, and perhaps also for raptor nesting?
