Location: Mouth of the river Murray Hindmarsh Island
Fairy Tern (Sterna nereis) (4) Birds were resting on a sand island near the
mouth along with Caspian and Crested Tern.
Pied Oystercatcher (Haematopus longirostris) (90) This large group of birds was
sheltering in samphire just out from the island lookout also 100 Avocet.
